Thanks to all who attended the April 26th Show "Legends of NJ Night Life".
Those of you who didn't attend and went to see the same old groups perform the same old songs, missed something very special and unique. Mr. Bob D'Andrea was fantastic siging his hit with the Knockouts, Darling Lorraine and with his partner Frank Cerell as "Andre and Cerell" treated the audience to some classic comedy, great singing and outstanding impersonations. By the time they finished the audience gave them a standing ovation.
As we have said in the past we are trying to attract young people not only to perform but to attend the shows and generate an interest in the music of the fifties. We were proud to present 18 year Anthony Duke who sang beautifully giving us all hope that the music will live on trough our youth. Mr Duke also accepted the hall of fame award on behalf of his cousin Dave Brigati.
Finally to cap off the night for all our dancers we were delighted to have the Frankie G Band to provide LIVE dance music.
Thank you to all our performers for a job well done!
We would also like to thank our volunteer staff and the wonderful staff at the Paramus Elks for making our job that much easier to do.
Once more, out heartfelt thanks to those who loyally support us. Please tell your friends and if you can, bring a young person next time you come.
